Import Groww Trades to ArthaLearn — Easy Steps

Groww has become one of India's most popular investment platforms, especially among new traders and investors. If you trade stocks or F&O on Groww, importing your trades into ArthaLearn's trading journal gives you deeper insights into your performance. This guide shows you how to export and import your Groww trades.

1. Export Trade History from Groww

  1. Log in to Groww on the web (groww.in) or open the mobile app.
  2. Navigate to the Stocks section, then go to Orders > Trade History.
  3. Select the date range for the trades you want to export.
  4. Click Download to export the trade report as a CSV file.
  5. Alternatively, access the Groww Backoffice for more detailed trade reports with additional fields.

For the best results, use the Groww web platform rather than the mobile app, as the web version provides more comprehensive export options.

2. Upload CSV to ArthaLearn

Once imported, ArthaLearn processes your Groww trades and provides:

  • Automatic P&L calculation for each trade and for your overall portfolio.
  • Performance metrics including win rate, average return, risk-reward ratio, and maximum drawdown.
  • Visual analytics with charts showing your equity curve, daily P&L, and sector-wise exposure.
  • Trade tagging and notes so you can annotate individual trades with your strategy or reasoning.
  • AI-powered insights via Drishti AI that analyze your trading patterns and suggest improvements.

5. Troubleshooting Groww Import

Cannot find download option on mobile

The Groww mobile app may have limited export options. Use the Groww website (groww.in) on a desktop browser for full CSV download capabilities.

Trades showing wrong dates

This typically happens when the CSV file is opened in Excel before upload, which can change date formats. Download a fresh copy from Groww and upload it directly without editing.

Only seeing partial trade data

Groww may limit the date range per download. If you need trades from a long period, download in monthly batches and import each file separately. ArthaLearn prevents duplicates automatically.
